Who are we?
We are a chapter of the law enforcement motorcycle (LEMC) Law Dogs, that was founded in North Texas in mid-2000. The South Central Illinois Law Dogsis the only chapter in Illinois at this time.
The Law Dogs Nation (LEMC) currently has chapters in the Red river Area of Texas (Founding Chapter); North Texas; South
Texas; Fort Worth Texas; Ohio;Delaware;Michagan;Oklahoma;Colorado;Arkansas;Georgia;Tennessee;Maryland; Illinois; Alaska; Florida; and Pennsylvania se chapter page for full list.
There is a Total of 24 chapters in the U.S. and 1 in Europe.

Why start a Law Dogs Chapter?
We didn't all ride Harleys and wanted to have a team building atmosphere in a club; Law Dogs Nation offered us a chance to start a fresh in our on community.
Some of us are new riders and liked the idea of group rides. We wish to raise the level enthusiasm for riding motorcycles, share experience and tips in riding and to promote safe
riding. The Chapter will sponsor fund raising events to help area Charity Organizations as well as build relationships among the different agencies and motorbike enthusiasts in the
area.
What are we all about?
We are Law Enforcement (LE) and Emergency Service Personnel (ESP) based motorcycle club that is a non-profit organization.
Membership
To be considered for membership: You must have ownership rights to and ride a motorcycle or plan to own one within six months. Any make
of motorcycle is allowed for membership into The Club. However, we strongly encourage the cruiser type bike as opposed to a sport or racing bike due to the type of
riding The Club promotes.
You must be a full-time, part-time or reserve Police Officer with powers of arrest (including Armed Forces Law Enforcement personnel); or, retired or vested Police
Officer from a full-time Law Enforcement Agency; or, retired, full-time or part-time Firefighter; or, Emergency Medical Personnel or full-time Corrections Officer. We may also accept a limited
number of civilians who have a high regard and respect for the work that we do.
You must be properly licensed to ride and operate a motorcycle and be able to provide, upon request, proof of insurance.

| What are our goals as a club? The goal of the Club is to generate an increased level of enthusiasm for riding motorcycles. To hold events that are intended to promote moral and safe riding among Law Enforcement Personnel, Emergency Service Personnel, and civilians that have a high regard for such personnel. Another goal is to raise money for Charity Organizations of the Club's choice |

We are NOT a 1% club, nor do we claim to be. We are proud to wear our colors with the State rocker because many of us
carry badges which plainly proclaim our service to the State. Many of us have fought, bled and sacrificed for our communities. Some of us have saved lives, a few of us have had to take lives, but ALL
of us would GIVE our lives to protect the people of our communities. We have EARNED the right to wear our colors. |
